Cutting Costs with LiveU
How we’re cutting production costs, maintaining quality and making livestreams more sustainable.
Presenter Updates
We’ve updated call.aotv.co.uk with some great new features for presenters. These updates should enable a cleaner interface and allow speakers to truely concentrate on giving their best presentation.
How to keep your audience engaged
Ever scanned a big Zoom meeting to see faces falling asleep, some disappearing to make tea or others just straight up playing games on their phones? The home has a lot of distractions, from childcare to deliveries or hungry pets and we can’t blame the audience for not engaging.
Livestreams allow for engaging interactivity. The audience are already using a device to view your content so why not get them involved and interacting live.
Remote Production Demo
We recently did a live demo of a quick remote production for a local business network. Steve presented from his home office using a Sony FS5 while Dan vision mixed from the office. A great example of how to bring professional cameras into your remote event.
Studio Update
The first of 2 new remote production studios we're building within Cardiff. Featuring our plans for hybrid events to keep professional content rolling for your event.
Case Study: Cardiff University
Given the competitive nature of Biosciences courses worldwide, Cardiff University wanted a professional solution that stood out from a sea of standard webinars, that’s where we come in.
Case Study: LeadDev Live
Lead Dev was originally planned as an 800+ delegate conference in New York City. This year, rather than cancelling the organisers decided to be bold and ambitious. They asked us to produce a 100% online two day conference with 35 remote presenters, seven pre recorded talks, an upbeat opening video and two testimonials. Oh, and they gave us just three weeks to pull it off during which time 10,000 delegates registered from around the globe. What could possibly go wrong? Well, luckily we love a challenge!
Home is the new office
So for most of us, home is the new office. But it wasn’t really designed to be.
When we welcome people into our office we want to project a professional image that’s consistent with our brand values.
But for the time being, whilst we can’t get out to meet each other in person, most of our face-to-face time with clients, stakeholders and colleagues will be via video using built in web cams or smartphones and platforms like Skype or Zoom. But that shouldn’t mean you can’t look good.
