How We Pulled Off Our Biggest Live Event Yet: Behind the Scenes at LDX3
Earlier this month, our team delivered the most ambitious event production in AOTV’s history — three packed days of live filming, editing, graphics and photography at LDX3, a multi-stage conference in London for a global tech audience.
This was more than just coverage. It was full-scale content creation at speed, with over 6TB of footage handled on site, and dozens of deliverables turned around before the event even ended.
Stage content was shot mostly on Blackmagic Ursa Broadcast G2s with Canon CJ24 and CJ45 lenses

Across five days of prep, filming and post, we delivered:
🎥 79 full-length talk edits, all filmed across three main stages
➕ 79 mid-roll ad insertions, branded and timed per session
🎤 18 sponsored vox pops, 15 of which were edited live on site
📺 7 interviews with sponsors shot, edited and played out on the day
🎧 1 live stage podcast, recorded with full production support
🟦 9 LED totem motion graphics, colour themed for each stage and dynamically updated
🔁 10+ branded looping “What’s On” animations for transitions and audience movement
📼 An opening ident film, celebrating 10 years of LeadDev and built using archive footage
📸 Multi-day photography coverage, spanning 5 stages, breakout zones, workshops and interactions
🎬 A future ad library, with material now in post to promote LeadDev events around the world
Real-Time Production, Real Results
The schedule was tight. Vox pops filmed in the morning were edited, branded and delivered before the end of the day. Interview content was captured, cut and scheduled for live playout between sessions. Every stage had its own visual identity, backed by bespoke motion graphics designed and animated in advance, with the flexibility to update as the show evolved.
Our editors worked onsite in real time. Every camera op fed directly into a structured ingest pipeline. Vox pops were logged, backed up and cut before lunch. And each evening ended with new highlights playing out across screens in the venue.

Alongside our video team, our photographers captured the full experience — from headline talks and roundtables to audience reactions and sponsor spaces. The feedback says it all:
