The challenge
EuroGames Cardiff 2027 needed a launch film that could capture the spirit of the event before it existed. The goal was to sell Cardiff as a city, not just a venue, and make the LGBTQ+ sporting community across Europe feel genuinely welcomed.
Our approach
We spent several days filming across the city with LGBTQ+ sports clubs, working with local athletes to bring real energy and authenticity to the screen. Welsh icon Catrin Feelings voiced the film and made a cameo to round it off with a proper Welsh welcome.
The outcome
The finished film became the first ever promotional piece for what will be the 24th edition of EuroGames and the first time the event has come to the UK.  It launched publicly to mark Cardiff’s place on the map ahead of the event in July 2027.
