The challenge.
Tops & Tales gives listeners the chance to hear the world's best darts players talk properly: how they got here, what makes them tick, and a few laughs along the way.
For series two, host Huw Ware wanted the show to look and sound as good as the people on it, and to feel less like a podcast and more like a night at the oche, with guests talking over a game of darts. Winmau backed the series.
Our approach.
We were brought in to raise the picture and the sound.
A multi-camera crew and our own kit travelled to wherever the show was filming. Five filming days took us from Cardiff to Wigan and across the UK, in pubs, arenas and darts venues, planned around the guests' diaries. The conversation stayed the star. The pictures and the audio got the care they deserve.
The outcome.
Series two was filmed in five days with every guest captured in conversation over a game of darts, in the settings they know best.
